Astrology Compatibility: The Triangles that Bring Us Together
Astrology compatibility is serious business to those who believe in it. It is a very complicated and in depth look at how each of the zodiac signs is compatible with each other. Some people have such faith in this school of thought, also known as "synastry", that they will not date or even consider having a relationship with someone who is not astrologically compatible with them.
There is more then one kind of astrology compatibly however, and each one has their own particular rating systems and factors to consider. Western, Chinese, and Vedic all have different ways to measure compatibility between two people. Chinese, though, is by far the most popular and most depended on of the different kinds of astrology compatibility.
The Chinese determine astrology compatibility based on several things which include your birthday (including the month, day, year, and even hour in which you were born). There are twelve Chinese signs and of these twelve, they are split up into four groups. These groups are referred to by the experts as "Triangles of Affinity".
The Triangles of Affinity are believed to be a way to determine your compatibility with a business or love partner. Those who put their faith in the astrology compatibility believe that those who belong to the same triangle will find harmony together. Not just in love relationships, but also in business relationships as well.
There are four Triangles:
1. The Rat, Dragon and Monkey
In this triangle people are thought to be passionate about life and love, be task and progress oriented, they are ambitious, imaginative and innovative. They are energetic and find it hard to sit still for long periods of time.
2. The Ox, Snake and Rooster
Here the people are a little different. They are considered to be purposeful, systematic, determined, intellectual, and independent.
3. The Tiger, Horse and Dog
These are those of us who are more free spirited. Those in this triangle have a passion for serving others; they are impulsive and full of life. They are loyal, honest and affectionate.
4. The Rabbit, Goat and Pig
This is the calm and cool group. These people are said to be more of a peaceful people. They are calm and sensual, expressive and emotional. They are sometimes overly dependent on others and seek to find the beauty in everyday things.
Some believe that mixing persons from outside the triangle can be disastrous while others simply believe that researching astrology compatibility it is a fun way to pass time. Either way, these traditions have been used and followed for years and years.
