I know what it's like to meet someone for the first time in a bar, dance club or even church and have sexual urges for them instantly. You never caused it to happen or to feel these feelings, but it just happened. It's normal for anyone to feel lust, because Satan is the tempter. It's also normal if we feel it overwhelms us at certain times in our psychic lives. I've witnessed in my own life that lust is a hard thing to deal with. If lust is extreme to the point that we can't control it, we need to fast and pray.
One of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is self control. If you cannot control the lust in your life, there are two options that you can take: get married or remain celibate.
The Bible clearly tells us that sex outside of marriage is sinful behavior. I believe this to be true. Not only because of what the scripture says, but because human beings are meant to have love in their lives and sex only fulfills the longing for love with the other person whom we share our lives with.
When and if our lover cheats on us, we feel depressed, angry and betrayed. It's almost as if it's not supposed to be happening. If we are called to have more than one psychic lover at a time, we would have no lonely people in the world and our bars and clubs would all be empty. I believe that we are a people that need love and sex. We need it to fulfill our whole being. It doesn't matter if you are rich or poor; sex is a matter for everyone. It enters more deeply into the inner-self as we grow older.
A person must be in touch with their inner child to find their sexuality. Sexuality is a must to be discovered in a person's life. Sex should also be controlled to some extent and give glory to God. Whatever you do, the Lord must be your total focus. You must ask yourself; does Jesus want me to do this? How does God feel about this thought or decision that I'm about to make?
I've learned to have psychic discipline over my sexuality at different times of great temptation and lust. I'm only human and I've made many mistakes, but I can tell you that God can help you to control your lustful temptation. Lust runs in many different stages and in several different ways. There is normal lust, such as when we meet someone; we instantly feel a sexual attraction for them if they "float our boat." If you feel this, relax, it's normal. Jesus never said that we wouldn't be tempted. He said that we would be tempted and that we should take pre-cautions not to sin and fall into sexual acts.
