In order for you to believe what I'm telling you throughout this psychic article, you need to accept the fact that Jesus is Lord and died for you and your sins.
The Old and New Testament predicted the birth and life of Jesus Christ. If you have a Bible, turn it to the following passages as I refer to them. If you don't have a Bible, you might want to go out and purchase one. I use an NIV translation, but you can choose any translation that you would like. Buy the translation that you can connect with the most. Pick the one that you can relate to and know that Jesus loves you and the best Bible that you can choose is a Bible that you can learn from.
In Isaiah, 7:14, the birth of the messiah is predicted. When you turn to Matthew 1:18, 22, 23, you see that Jesus fulfills this prophesy. I want you to look up these verses in your Bible. I don't want to write it for you. Sometimes when we look up the verses ourselves, we can see much deeper as to what God is trying to teach us.
In Micah 5:2 it mentions that the Christ will be born in Bethlehem. Where was Jesus born? Bethlehem, you guessed it. If you want to see it for yourself, then turn to Luke2:4, 6, and 7. In Zechariah 11:12, 13 and 13:6, it speaks of the messiah being betrayed. Judas betrayed Jesus as we read in Matthew 26:14-16, 27:3-10.
You may be saying to yourself, o.k. the scriptures say this and I believe what the Bible declares. The New Testament scriptures measure up, but how do I know that Jesus considered himself to be God? Jesus said in John 10:30, "I and the father are one." Those who heard him say this understood Jesus to mean that he was God. In John 14:7, Jesus clearly states, "If you really knew me, you would know my father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him." If Jesus isn't calling himself God here, then I must be insane. John 14:6-9 states, "Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."
Peter speaks in Matthew 16:16, "Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the son of the living God." Christ responded to Peter that God revealed to him that he was God, Matthew 16:17.
Thomas said to Jesus in John 20:28, "my Lord and my God." Yes, Thomas called him his God.
Jesus revealed himself to his disciples and people living in those days that he was truly the Christ. He now reveals it to us as well and Jesus really makes the difference in all of our lives. Before we came to Jesus Christ, we were prone to sin. Look at Ephesians 2:1.
Satan was controlling our lives before we came to Jesus Christ as it says in Ephesians 2:2. Is Satan Controlling your life? Are you a saved man or woman of God who's living for Jesus Christ? The scripture also says that without the Lord, we are all children of wrath, Ephesians 2:3.
