Cat Astrology for the Discerning Pet Lover
Cats are more than pets, and anyone who has ever shared their home and heart with a feline can agree that there is something different to this animal. Cats -- as a general rule - cannot be owned. Instead, they choose to share themselves, and their living space, with a select number of humans, and, sometimes when the arrangement no longer suits, the cat may simply leave. Conversely, when a human is ready to declare the relationship over, but the cat is not yet ready to let go, it is not surprising to find the feline on the doorstep in the morning, with nobody knowing how she got there. Since cats are so different from all other animals that share living quarters with humans, it is not surprising that cat astrology for the discerning pet lover has become a tool for better understanding their furry companions.
Granted, many people do not know the exact date of birth on which their feline companion entered the world, and, even if this information is known, the exact time may not be available. For humans this might provide quite a bit of a challenge, but for the concepts of cat astrology the actual birth date is actually not as crucial as many surmise. In addition, there are some ways that humans can guess at their cat's zodiac sign.
Working backwards, humans may learn about their cat's actual needs and preferences by guessing the feline's zodiac sign based on certain external signs and behaviors. An orange cat usually points to an Aries, as does a prolific hunter. Cats born in the sign of Virgo are fussy and do not deal well with changes in their routines. The Gemini feline loves to talk and be understood, and patiently seeks to communicate with the humans in its life. A cat born in Cancer is affectionate, and will submit to any and all kinds of affection, even nail trimming. The Capricorn forms only one close bond with a human, and only as long as the human does not overstep his bounds. A Pisces cat is very expressive to the point of drama, and will not shy away from putting on rather amusing, but exasperating theatrics when there is a need for food or attention.
The Taurus cat is overweight, and does not delight in exercise or toys. The Leo cat is domineering and pretentious, and will not touch its food unless it is served properly. Sagittarius cats are born wanderers, and, while they may enjoy human company, they make for rather unhappy indoor cats. A cat that seems to find trouble, and other cat companions, is almost certainly a Libra. When such a cat appears standoffish, and wants affection, attention and even food on its own terms, the odds are good that this is a true Scorpio rather than a sociable Libra. If there is trouble on the horizon, and constant mischief, cat astrology suggests that an Aquarius cat has joined a household.
