When I was a child, I had no idea that I was going to be called to be a psychic. I felt inside of my heart that God was expecting me to do something for his kingdom, but I had no idea that it was to be a psychic. I thought that maybe I would be a preacher or some sort of minister. I had no idea that I would be called to be a psychic though.
As a child, I would spend long hours with God each day. I would usually read the Holy Bible and pray to Jesus for around 2 hours or more per day. My weekends were spent in church and I always looked forward to worshipping the Lord. It became an everyday function for me.
As I grew in my spirit gifts, the Lord told me that I was being called to be a prophetic minister for Him. I actually told nobody about this. I instead would get congregation members coming up to me and telling me that God was going to use me very powerfully one day. I didn't know exactly what they meant. However, I took their words as a sign from God telling me that my life was not going to be ordinary.
Every Sunday, congregation members would ask me to pray for them and to see if the Lord was laying anything on my heart to tell them. I usually heard the Lord saying something to me for them. I usually thought that this experience was a blessed and a good one. I felt honored to be helping people in a way that was actually changing their life. I was so shocked to find out that God was in fact turning me into a prophet. I thought that maybe my life's calling was going to be ordinary. I thought that I would either be a full time pastor or just do prophetic work on the side from time to time.
As I grew into my later years, I was shocked to find out that God had other plans for me than what I had expected. I was well on my way to becoming a top chef. I was a graduate of a cooking school and I had many years experience as a cook and chef. Shockingly, my life began to take a turn on me. God told me that it was time for me to start using my prophetic gift to help those that were in need of hearing prophesy. I struggled with God's word for a long time. After all, I was making good money as a chef and I didn't want to leave a profession that I felt most comfortable in. However, my side work as a psychic was becoming more of a full time job for me. Psychic clients were beginning to seek me out more and more. I knew that in order for me to give psychic readings effectively, I would have to leave my current job and actually become a full time psychic.
I had to put a lot on the table. I could either stay working as a chef or go into a psychic ministry in which I had no idea what the turnouts were going to be. However, I am the type of person that always follows God no matter what the costs are. I felt that if God wanted me to live my life as a full time prophet, then I had to show Him that I was going to be obedient to His every word.
I began to step out and to actually run towards God. I felt that it was in my best interest to begin giving psychic readings to those that asked for them. Little by little, God began to show me that my psychic gift was the road to my new found future. I must say that I did not choose to be psychic. It instead chose me. I believe that's what a calling actually is. Sometimes you have to accept what God wants instead of what we want. When we do this, we are truly serving God 100% of the time.
If you are trying to find your calling, please sit down before God and just ask him which way you should go. The more that you do this, the better off you will feel in the long run. Learning more about God is a sure way of finding your own inner freedom and connection to God the father. Remember that He is always there to guide us every step of the way.
