The Bible is clear that you are never supposed to call it quits with your marriage. It may be hard for you to understand that you are supposed to stay in a marriage that may seem to be hurtful or even wrong. You may be asking yourself if you should stay with someone that is abusive and how much of this should you actually take before you call it quits. In actuality, you are supposed to stay with your spouse through good and bad times. Of course this is something that is extremely difficult and not easy to do. God's laws are very strict when it comes to marriage and we are supposed to stay married to the person that we are with for serving God.
Marriage isn't easy and sometimes you have to understand that you are going to face trials and tribulations in it. All throughout the Bible, God teaches us that divorce is unacceptable in his eyes unless it is for marital unfaithfulness. Even so, God doesn't want you to leave your spouse. Marriage is a vow that two people take with one another in life and it's something that truly makes a difference to God. When you commit to your significant other, this means that you are allowing that person to be in charge of you and you in charge of them. The marriage commitment is something that goes on between a man and a woman and is supposed to express unconditional love. When you are learning how to love someone for all of the right reasons, then you are actually learning how to give of yourself more freely and in such a way that will move the hearts and the minds of those around you that truly want to come into your life for all of the right reasons. Don't worry if you cannot understand life because most people cannot. Life is all about learning and when we learn, we actually find the answers that we are looking for one step at a time.
Just start to take small steps into learning more about you as a person and don't forget to understand your present condition in such a way that makes total sense for you. Just allow yourself to get started with love right away and don't forget that you have what it takes to learn more about yourself and your spouse. When your marriage gets to tough and it feels like you cannot go on any longer, then its time to just ask God to help you. The best source of help is always in prayer and reading the Holy Bible. Reading the Holy Bible is the only way that you are going to learn to live for God and to listen to all of his Biblical words of wisdom. God is the answers to all things no matter how hard our life may be at the time of our difficult times.
