The new age movement started a few years back. It's a movement that allows more freedom to those that truly want to be religious and who truly want to believe that God is in charge of their lives. However, many religious people are tired of feeling the control that most organized religions want to put on you. When you step out and try to give God your heart, you are actually doing something that most people feel frightened about. Most people are scared to change the way in which they worship. The new age movement helps people to see that they are a spiritual being, but yet have the option of changing things in their life that may be object ional to some church teaching.
People that are part of the new age movement are actually a part of it for several reasons. Most new agers don't want to hear drama. Most new agers are happy to hear that religion is changing for the better. The new age movement got started because most people were outraged at how their religious beliefs were being viewed. Many new agers feel that they have the right to worship God in the way that they choose. Most organized religions want to control the way that you think and feel towards God and towards other church members. New agers want to bring change to their churches and to others in order to bring more peace and harmony. New agers also believe in the spiritual realm and that there is no one right religion. New agers often believe that religion can be good for the soul and not every religion is considered to be the right religion.
New agers like to explain their philosophies towards life and their feelings towards the afterlife. Most new agers aren't interested in organized religion because it often brings pain to those that are not a part of the mainstream religion. Many new agers use psychics and psychic readings as a way to guide their lives. Many new agers like to feel like they are in charge of their own spiritual destiny and that somehow God lead them to their personal beliefs and the way in which they want to walk through their lives.
Most new agers are comfortable with spirituality and don't look at a persons views as being threatening or wrong. Most new agers are open to spiritual discussions and want to make a change for the better. Many new agers think of life as a way to understanding human nature and to what we are all actually here for. If you are a new ager, consider yourself to be part of a new movement that is happening worldwide. Church experts are saying that many organized religions are beginning to see a dramatic change in their parishioner's attendance. Many churches are beginning to close down because more people are beginning to see that organized religion often brings more harm than good. Things may or may not turn around for organized churches, but it's clear that the new age movement is here to stay and more and more people are beginning to find comfort in their own spirituality. I believe that you must find your way in which the good Lord is leading you. When God shows you something, just follow His lead and walk with confidence.
