As a psychic, I am used to spending long periods of prayer and meditation. I feel like God is always there and he always understands my needs and all that I am going through on a daily basis. If you are trying to get closer to God, then it's a good idea to start setting aside some prayer time each and every day. You must set aside this time to pray and to ask God to come to you for help. You also must set some time aside for asking God to help you to learn in some sort of way. The more that you master your own prayer life, the more that you can fully understand why God may or may not be leading you to do something. I believe that prayer is what actually brings us closer to God.
I believe that prayer is more important than anything that we are doing physically in our life. It is more important than work, entertainment or anything that we may feel is important to us. Without God, we actually have nothing.
In order to understand God more fully, we must first understand who God is. God is the person that created you and He is the person that guides your every day steps. He allows angels, spirit guides and other people to come into your life for a very special reason. It's all to help guide you in some sort of way. God's words are always used to bring guidance into our lives for a reason. When we ask God to help us, we are actually asking Him to come into our lives and show us what to do next. Always expect God's words to be full of love and light. The more that we pray the more God will reveal certain things to us. God can speak to us through: books, prayer, meditation, cd's, psychics, long walks in the parks and even silence. He can use people and all sorts of things to give you the prophetic words in which he is trying to have you understand. When we ask God for help, He always does send us the help that we need. Perhaps it may not be in the same way that you had planned it or even expected it and that's ok. When you look at God, you can easily look to him as being your provider and your guider.
The best way to understand God is to look at what love basically is. I love the interpretation of love that is written in the New Testament and in the book of 1 Corinthians 13. This actually sums up love for me. I like the fact that love is something that takes more than a lifetime to master. It's nice to know that God loves us so much that He is willing to teach it to us in his daily ways.
The most important spiritual law that we must all learn is patience. This is the hardest law in my opinion because we are a people that want to see changes happening quickly. Most of us hate waiting for anything and most of us feel like we shouldn't have to wait for what God wants to give most to us. God's love is obviously all around us and we have to use it in order to make sense out of what we may be doing in the future. When you learn to master love, its best to master it deep within your heart first and then give it out to those that are in need.
